Remembrance!

Heyyy Ladies!!

"Time is Precious" isn't it?
What we have today is a Gift , that's why it is called a Present!
Time flies by, we get old, memories remain.
Wish we could freeze time, rewind, fast-forward it.

My Mixed Media Art today is inspired by Time, Numbers, and clock.

Here it is! :)

Technique:
I used a cardboard which was a part of a new shirt and up cycled it ;)
I applied 2-3 layers of Sakura Acrylic Gesso over it. I adhered Number Washi tapes shown and primed with another layer of gesso.
I used a stencil from Craftslane for the texture and Number stencil from local store for the numbers.
I used texture paste for the same.
Later, I used loads of patterned paper scrap and adhered it at the centre. I applied Gesso and acrylic white over them.
I used a feather, Wooden embellishments- Camera & clock, buttons, Mulberry flowers, foam punched flowers, leaves, eyelets, glass glitter.
I arranged these as shown and later primed them again with gesso. I used Acrylic colors- black, white gold, pearl colors, Bronze dust & water colors.
For the butterfly, I fuzzy cut it out and adhered it with glass glitter and acrylic white color. It gives such a cool texture! :)
I used a few stamps from Fiskars over the layout using wild honey and old paper distress ink.
The sentiment is hand-written.

Hope you guys like this new style of mixed media attempt that I tried? :)

I am entering it for:
