STAMPlorations- Anything CAS with optional BLACK!

Hello Sweet Peeps!

How are you all doing?I have been MIA since a few days as my office work is still not sorted out and I guess the work load is gonna be as is for the rest of this year! :(
Anyway, I am trying to catch up with the comments! Forgive me if I have been slow in it..I will do my best to do better!

Well, I can't believe it is October already! September was too busy for me- I didn't even realise it is October until it was the 3rd! Phew!

If you are still there with me, as you know, it is the first Thursday of October and so it is time for another CAS challenge at STAMPlorations!
This time the optional color choice is BLACK! :)

I came up with this card-
It is a CAS card with masking of the sunflower stamps from STAMPlorations- The birds and the blooms stamp set! This set is so versatile- I can use it again and again! I used Black soot to shade the flower in black and Wild honey DI to shade the negative part. Easy?

Find out what my teamies have created HERE on the STAMPlorations blog!

I am entering this card for AAA Cards#74- Masking!

To end this post, I know you all wanted to know more about the exhibition. If you missed the pics, you can check them out HERE. :)
The exhibition was fun and as it was my first on a comparatively bigger platform, I think it went well. The best part was that I enjoyed it thoroughly. Profit or not, doing what you love is important (I did manage to make a little over expenses ;) Good enough for the start right? ) I had also conducted a workshop on Handmade Cards where I taught basics on stamping! It was fun- people were interested and wanted to learn more!

Hope you enjoyed this post! And hope to see you all participate in STAMPlorations! :)
Hugs xx

I love U 2 ! ;)

Heyyaaa Sweet Crafters!! :)

While I can see pretty Christmas cards floating through-out our blog-land..I thought why not make 1-2 cards more before starting my Christmas ones? :)

My first card is a black and white with a tinge of gold!

For the card, I stamped flowers from STAMPlorations - Blooms sketches and Fiskars- Petals from scratch stamp set. I used jet black archival ink. I used Rangers gold embossing powder and versa mark to heat emboss the sentiment. I also added golden color to the petals! :)

I am entering this card for Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge - Gilding

and
My second card is inspired by this month's Time Out#44 Guest Designer Karen.
Look at her gorgeous card!! I loved the sketch and doesn't that stenciling look just perfect ?? :)

My second card is here:

For this card, I inverted the sketch of Karen's card and did loads of  masking for it! :P I used the STAMPlorations- Bloom sketches and Bo Bunny- It is written stamp set. I used 3 different shades of yellow distress ink to color the flowers and leaves. The sentiment is heat embossed using gold embossing powder from Ranger.

Also, I am entering both of the cards for
STAMPlorations Anything Goes

Crafters hardly find time for anything, but still that's the one thing we all manage to find time for! I have a time saving hack for you ladies..as Christmas is just around the corner, you may not find enough time ..So, you can use one black card stock and make a sheet for heat embossed sentiment like this. It helps, really! (and if you already know what kind of cards you are gonna make, then this one is a life -saver ) I have made this sheet using white and gold embossing powder. :)

Hope you liked my CAS cards!

Enjoy! :)

Triple Easel + Shaker Anniversary Card + Tutorial

Helloooo Bloggers!!

Today I am going to present before you a Triple Easel Shaker Card which I have created for my Mom Dad's Anniversary! :)

Here is the card:

I am going to give you a step by step tutorial for it:

1.Cut out 3 different size Heart Shape templates from Black Card stock.
2.Score your Hearts as shown in the images below

3.Stick these templates one behind the other as shown

4.Now, I have used a Red + Black + White combination for this card and I am loving it! I have used Red colored heart templates and a silver colored for the shaker card.

5.For the shaker element, I adhered the silver colored heart template on the red one. I have 2 sided glue tape for making this shaker card. I bordered the heart using black point pen and outer boundary using white gel pen. I have added -black, white and red colored sequins in the shaker card! :)

Shaker Element

6. For the heart in the middle, I have bordered the heart using white gel pen.I have used stencils from Crafter's Workshop for creating the designs. I hand- wrote Mom and Dad and the digits "32".

7.Finally, for the largest heart, I have firstly used stencils for creating the designs. I have stamped the hearts. I added the sentiment "Happy Anniversary" which is from DeeDee's Daniel Sweetheart Digital Stamp Set .

8. Adhere these Hearts on the panels created. Here is another look at the card:

Z Strokes!

Helloo Dear Bloggerssss!!

I have come up with a card inspired by Zentangle which is the theme for this week's Alphabet Challenge Blog.

Here is my Zentangle beauty taken to the next level because the first time I created it, I had used a pencil first then a pen. But this time I used the Black and White pens directly on the paper. You may like to see my first Zentangle with Tutorial Here.

My friend Purvi introduced me to Zentangle. She is greatly inspired by it and you might like few of her creations which you can check here and here.

I have used a Black point pen and a white gel pen for drawing the Zentangle image. I have added a combination of black and white over red which is in vogue. :)

Check this out:

I have doodled a butterfly (zentangled) besides the image and look what I created!

I have used white water colour card stock and used a red paper stock for the circular part. For Sentiment I have used "Bo Bunny -To the point" Stamp Set. I have used Tim Holtz "Fire Brick" distress ink to color the hearts.

Crafty Sentiment Designs says to use some Red. I am using this week's sketch by Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge # 287 for this card. I am also adding this card for CraftMania # 65 which ends on 27/2

What do you think about this card?
