Helloo My Sweet Friends!! :)

We are showcasing mid-month inspiration for March at STAMPlorations- Sketch and Theme Challenge

As you know the
Theme is

and

Sketch is

Here is my take- I am using both sketch and theme.

I have used STAMPlorations- Bloom Sketches stamp set. I have used weathered wood distress ink for the background. However , after adding white pigment to it, it turned bluish!
Hope my background counts for grey color! :)
The background texture is from Bobunny-it is written and Bloom Sketches. I have used white gel for the bubbles and colored the blooms using Picked raspberry DI. The sentiment is also shaded.

Did you like my card? Would love to hear what you wana say about it!

Come play with us HERE at STAMPlorations!! I want to know how you - my talented friends, interpret this theme! :)

STAMPlorations October & HLS CAS Challenge!

Heyyaaa Sweet Crafters!! :)
I know, I am super late for these challenges! I was out of town and just came back with a newly found mojo! :)

I had gone to Bangalore- they call it the Silicon Valley of India. I fell in love with this beautiful green metro immediately (though I cannot actually understand the local language there-which is Kannad) ;)

Anyway, I will tell you more about it after I show you my card! I came up with a card inspired by this month's STAMPlorations Sketch. I like using pink with darker colors. :)

and

U would be surprised to see that heart because I have used Dee's Artsy impression Stamp - Balloons & Banners for the heart - It is the heart shaped balloon paper pieced! I have used different patterned papers to make an ombre effect out of pink! :)

I have utilized the negative space by adhering those hearts over the double sided glue tape. I don't have dies. So, I have hand cut those curved rectangles..I managed it well, didn't I? Those could have looked perfect with dies... :(
I have used STAMPlorations - Trendy Feathers for the sentiment with Black Soot DI. :)

The yummy set has arrived from STAMPlorations- Yuletide Cheer ! I am looking forward to make some crafty things out of them! :) Doesn't that stamp look just gorgeous?

Dreamy Background

Heyyaaaa Lovely Crafters!! :)

I am bringing before you the card I made yesterday..

That's the dreamy background I am talking about.. I sprinkled water on the stamp before stamping on the card base to make that colorful background.. I used distress ink wild honey, mowed lawn, salty ocean, seedless preserves and worn lipstick. For the vellum flower I have used Fiskars - Scratch from petals stamp set. Heat embossing with Ranger's white embossing powder and colored the back side using worn lipstick DI.

For the sentiment, I have used STAMPlorations - Hashtag Authentic stamp. And for the sparkle & shine, I used silver gel over the sentiment and also on the background. Here is a close-up with the shining captured successfully!(after several attempts..phew! ) Also, added a few sequins over the card.. I kept it simple as I didn't want my CAS card to be too shiny... :)

I am entering this card for TIME OUT Challenges - inspired by the beautiful card of TRACEY as shown below

Also for Lulupu Challenge - Sparkle & Shine

and

Thanks for stopping by! Hope you like my card..
