Heyyaaaaa Sweet Crafters! :)

This post is really special to me as it is my 100th post! Hurrayyy!!! A big milestone for me...I started blogging avidly this January...before that I wasn't much of a blogger... I have made new friends in this blog - world and your wonderful work is keeping me inspired!

What's more special is that, I have been following STAMPlorations since day one and have majority of my stamps from them. Shery, this card is for you and little Catherine! I thought little lady would love colors! And of course a reason to Celebrate!Cheers! :)

Also, this month Craft for the Craic has "No Rectangle or square" theme. Eithne and Michelle are wonderful crafters and you can find all the amazing DT creations here. I am having a DT post for it...yay!

For the card, I used Dee's Artsy Impression set - Balloons & Banners! Oh, this is a new addition to my stamps and oooooo...it is lovely!! This card is a circular easel card. (You can find the tutorial of triple easel card here). I stamped the border of the circle. Made a tag and used banners for the celebration(used masking technique for the banners)! I stamped the balloons on colored sheets and fussy cut out. I adhered them with double sided glue tape. The sentiment is from the same stamp set.

Hope you like my card?

That place!

Helloo Dear Crafters!!
How have you all been? It's been a week since my last post! :O
Time is flying by here. I have been really busy lately! But here I am struggling to make another card. :)

Well, I am playing along STAMPlorations Challenges.

This week's sketch is:

What I have come up with is this card :)
I am also entering this card for Lawnscaping challenge which has watercoloring as their theme.

And Crafty CardMarker Challenge -Make your own background.

Technique:
I cut out shades of green colored papers in the above fashion and stuck them over the card. I managed to recycle a tag from my jean's price tag ;)
I adhered it with white card stock and patterned papers from American Craft(cut them out in the same shape as the background). I used this amazing Koi water brush which I recently bought. This brush-pen makes you work faster and makes things less messy! I used Mr.Huey's water colors to paint the background clouds and sun.
Later, I adhered a foam die-cut that I received in a giveaway. :)
I used Stamp from Fiskars for the sentiment and distress ink-black soot.
So, how do you like my card- It has paper piecing, stamping, watercoloring and die cut techniques.
Would love to hear your comments !

STAMPlorations Bi-weekly Sketch# 32 - Guest Designer Post

Heyya Gorgeous Ladies!!

I am OVERJOYED to announce that Shery from STAMPlorations has honored me with a Guest Designer position after winning the Bi-Weekly challenge #29! Yayy!! :)

I was pretty excited seeing the sketch!! I won 3 Digital Stamps from STAMPlorations and decided to use them in my card!

Sketch:
I had a tough time choosing the digis for the card as I loved them all! ;)
The sketch for bi-weekly # 32 Challenge is  this

Here comes my card with STAMPlorations Digi:

Technique:
I firstly made shapes of clouds, grassland and sun and cut them out. I masked these shapes and created a scenery using them. Tim Holtz distress ink- Mowed Lawn, Wild Honey and Salty Ocean were used for the same. I stencilled the border using lattice stencil from Craftslane and Mowed Lawn DI.

I don't have Die cuts so I hand-cut the circle and used a rounder to create a faux border and adhered it to the card.
Later, I colored these beautiful flowers digi from STAMPlorations and fuzzy cut them out. I used DI - seedless preserves, worn lipstick and wild honey.I stamped the sentiment used Bo Bunny sentiment stamp set and Mowed lawn DI.

STAMPlorations has an amazing design team providing us gorgeous inspirations daily! There are Bi-weekly challenges,A Monthly challenge, CASEplorations and Never ending Challenges! (They are going to start Mixed Media Challenge soon as well)

Mom - You are the best teacher!

Helloooo my dear friends!!
I have come up with another card and wow..this is my 50th Post!! :O

Theme:
You might have guessed already that it is something related to Mom?
Well, yeah! I have made a Mother's Day card. I know it's too early. But why waste time ;)
Here is my card:

Sketch:
I have followed the sketch by STAMPlorations Challenge # 30 which is this:

Technique:
I have used a whole lotta techniques in this card!

Firstly, I made a cute pencil by distressing it with wild honey. I applied Ranger Texture paste using alphabet stencil. This gives your paper such an amazing look! (I am in love with it! ;)) I let it dry overnight. I used paper piecing technique to add the sharpened edges, lead and rubber ;) I also made vertical stripes using Pigma Black marker pen.

I have used an actually notepad paper in this card. I tore one and distressed the edges with Old Paper distress ink.

The blackboard technique is so much in vogue that I had to try this! I used a black paper stock and heat embossed using Versa mark and White Embossing Powder. Use of Stamps is mandatory for STAMPlorations, that's why, I stamped the word "MOM" using Kaisercraft Cartoon Alphabet Stamp Set that I have and rest all is hand-written by Versa Mark Pen. I wanted to keep the whole card natural so didn't mind if the chalkboard had a handwritten look.

I made one apple and fuzzy cut it out from a red colored card stock and adhered it as shown above.

Challenges:
I am entering this card for the below challenges:
1.STAMplorations bi-weekly Challenge # 30 -which ends on 28/3
2.Addicted to Stamps and More # 136 -Anything goes which ends on 24/3
3.C.R.A.F.T Challenge # 303 -Mother's Day which ends on 25/3

How did you find my card guys...? Please let me know..it encourages me a lot! :)

Before ending my post, I wanted to share this beautiful thought on hardwork.

Monster Mash

Hellooo my dear friends..!!

I am back. This is my first card in February! I came across a combination of colours that I really ADORE now! It is black, white and light green! I am really loving it! ;)

Check out my new card with this combination:

I have used a few funny Monster stamps over a white card stock. I have colored them using distress ink. I adhered it on a black paper. I learnt this new faux stitching technique and used it on my card. It gives your card a really sweet look! :)

Now, I added a few green sequins and glued a ribbon at the back of it!

For the interactive part, i have cut out the area covering the "Eye" of the monster so that when you open it...what you see is this... :D

Here is another look at this card! :)

I am entering this card for Tuesday Throwdown Challenge # 230 and for Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge # 286

Tuesday ThrowDown Challenge is Monster Mash
