Smooshing!

Hello Sassy Crafters! My back-to-back post! :)

I am so excited to tell you that I received the Unity Stamps which I had won at Berina's blog! So glad to have them...and was very desperate to make something using those gorgeous stamps! :)

My card using one of the Unity stamps:

For the card, I used smooshing technique- so glad I tried it! I am gonna try this again and soon! Ok, I used different color DIs - Fire brick, Worn lipstick, Picked raspberry, Seedless preserves from Tim Holtz. I stamped those butterflies rubber stamp from Unity Stamps. The sentiment is from STAMPlorations - Balloons & Banners.

These are the stamps I received! Aren't those gorgeous? :) Thanks a lot Berina!

Googly-eyed owls!

Heyya Peeps!!

For all my US friends..Hope you all had a relaxed and happy Thanksgiving! And everyone, hope you had a great day! :)

Do you remember my post in which I used STAMPlorations- Retro Mod Shapes stamps for making a chicken birthday card?
If not, find it HERE!

This time I used the same set for making OWLS..! :P
Look at my card :

I stamped the Retro Mod Shapes stamps for the body and wings. I paper pieced those wings and the orange ! I doodled over the party hats and those long legs! And adhered those googly eyes, don't they look cool?

I paper pieced the nose, I didn't realise that I inverted the nose of the taller owl until I finished the card! Is it looking more like chicken? :P
 I hope not!

I love U 2 ! ;)

Heyyaaa Sweet Crafters!! :)

While I can see pretty Christmas cards floating through-out our blog-land..I thought why not make 1-2 cards more before starting my Christmas ones? :)

My first card is a black and white with a tinge of gold!

For the card, I stamped flowers from STAMPlorations - Blooms sketches and Fiskars- Petals from scratch stamp set. I used jet black archival ink. I used Rangers gold embossing powder and versa mark to heat emboss the sentiment. I also added golden color to the petals! :)

I am entering this card for Happy Little Stampers CAS Challenge - Gilding

and
My second card is inspired by this month's Time Out#44 Guest Designer Karen.
Look at her gorgeous card!! I loved the sketch and doesn't that stenciling look just perfect ?? :)

My second card is here:

For this card, I inverted the sketch of Karen's card and did loads of  masking for it! :P I used the STAMPlorations- Bloom sketches and Bo Bunny- It is written stamp set. I used 3 different shades of yellow distress ink to color the flowers and leaves. The sentiment is heat embossed using gold embossing powder from Ranger.

Also, I am entering both of the cards for
STAMPlorations Anything Goes

Crafters hardly find time for anything, but still that's the one thing we all manage to find time for! I have a time saving hack for you ladies..as Christmas is just around the corner, you may not find enough time ..So, you can use one black card stock and make a sheet for heat embossed sentiment like this. It helps, really! (and if you already know what kind of cards you are gonna make, then this one is a life -saver ) I have made this sheet using white and gold embossing powder. :)

Hope you liked my CAS cards!

Enjoy! :)

The background sky is masked using DI and decorated used white pigment ink and black gel pen. I have used texture paste and distress ink for the ground using Craftslane stencil.
