My new buy and a new card!

Helloo Dearest Friends!! :)

It is end of June already! The time flies like anything! :)

I have made a delicate card using acetate for you all! This is my first because the ones that I had made earlier using acetate are interactive cards!

I got myself a new stamp set -again a first, Altenew stamp set- Wild Hibiscus! I LOVEEE it! Here is what I made-

For the inner page , I used ghosting technique( I made another! ;) ) using distress inks and STAMPlorations stencil- Leaf Prints. I also masked the borders. The sentiment is from "My Favorite Things-Adorable Elephant ' stamp set.

Later on, I stamped and heat embossed Altenew Wild Hibiscus flowers over vellum using Ranger's White Embossing powder and Versamark. I colored them using distress inks again.  :)

Hope you liked my new fresh color card? I was inspired by the colors over Altenew June Challenge. I must say it was really difficult to photograph an acetate card!

What a dramatic title , right? 

Well, I wanted it to be and so I am sticking to it! ;)

Ladies, time and again I realize that what keeps my spirits high are your wonderful feedback and comments! They really make me happy!

I got a chance to play along a few challenges!

Here is my card that I want to share with you all!

I started by giving a Calypso Coral wash over a water color card stock. I repeatedly stamped 'Petals from scratch' stamps from Fiskars over it. I heat embossed the flowers on Vellum (using Ranger's white embossing powder) and sentiment (Ranger's gold embossing powder). The sentiment is from MFT- Adorable Elephant stamp set. :)

 My First card is here-

I used Fiskars-For the Birds Stamp set. I colored the rainbow colors using Mr.Huey's watercolors and Koi watercolor brush. The used various distress inks for the sentiment. 

I played along CAS(E) This Sketch # 166.

Now, check out my second card-

I have hand-drawn those flowers with pots using white gel pen. I have also used stamp from My Favorite Things-Adorable elephant stamp set for the butterflies and the sentiment.

I colored using Mr.Heuy's watercolor set and distress ink for black.

Before ending, I want to share a thing with you all!

Ladies, do you remember this Calendar that I had made last year in Jan? I hope so!

My hubby was bored of the background and he asked me if he could alter it! That was a surprise to me as he doesn't craft or is never anywhere near crafting! ;)

 He took up this challenge for himself and the calendar background which was like this----

Was made to this! He made the base red and adhered a pattern paper in the background for the new look. He also extended the base so that my altered bottle could accommodate! 

I gladly took the pic of my new altered Calendar background that he made! I am loving it !! What do you think? :)

I made this card!

For the card, I watercolored the card base using distress ink- Peacock feather and Mowed lawn. I colored the adorable elephant with DI. The stamp set is from My Favorite Things-Adorable elephant stamp set. I heat embossed the sentiment using Ranger's white embossing powder.
