We are back at STAMPlorations!! October is a beautiful season full of autumn colors. We have Stamp & Autumn as the theme - yaha love it! And that beautiful sketch! What an awesome way to start!

Here is my card, it has been so long that I made a card (my baby is now 10 months)! I have been so busy... He is a crazy little lovey dovey darling. :)

Ok! So , for the cards, I first sponged the background with distress inks. I used the stencil ARTplorations - Bloom Factory. I used double stenciling technique for this. I stamped "Trendy Leaves" and "Many Blessings Stamp and Coordinating Die". I colored using Zig Real Brush Pens. The sentiment is from Vignette- Trendy Feathers set.

Below are the few things to follow while participating:
Players can link up to 6 projects -- any type of project is welcome as long as there is stamping. Projects must be based on the theme, sketch, or both.
Non-STAMPlorations products are OK
To qualify for the prize, players must display challenge graphic and link back to the challenge post (blogs only)
Prizes: $15 GC for the winner (voted by the team); $5 GC to three (3) randomly picked players

I have a collection of amazing STAMPlorations stamps- I was waiting eagerly to use one! :)

For the card, I used STAMPlorations-Trendy leaves and Trendy Feathers stamp set. I did a bit of masking on the borders and stamped the leaves using various colors of distress ink. MISTI stamping tool makes it very convenient! :)

I am entering this card for -

Now, back to what kept me busy! As you know, I am working in a software company, we had our Production release. When we have a release, we create a havoc and that kept me busy in the office. We had working weekends and long working hours in office!
After that, we have Ganpati festival celebrated at our home. All my Indian friends might be aware of that but for my Non Indian friends out there, Ganesha festival is celebrated in full swing in our state. Here we pray to the Idol of Mighty God Ganesha. He is the God of Knowledge, Happiness and the one who is worshipped before any other God! :)
Check out the picture of Ganesha that we got for our Home!
In addition to all this, I caught cold which made me feel low. However, medicines helped! ;)
Now I am feeling much better and Office work is sorted out. Ganesha festival is still being celebrated! :)
Wooops!! I forgot to say, now I got myself a logo! You will find me using this in my cards and pages! It signifies my FIRST Stamp Design -The Humming Bird set from Mudra Stamp Crafts!

This has been one of my longest posts yet! Lol. Hope I did justice to my absence! ;)
I will catch up with the comments soon!

Autumn in pieces :)

Hello Dear Crafters! :)

I have come up with a CAS fall card..

I have made this autumn card using STAMPlorations-Trendy Leaves stamp set and distress ink - fire brick, wild honey and mowed lawn. I used repeated stamping for the sentiment.
The background is sponged and I sprinted a few drops of water and let it dry. I fussy cut of the stamped leaves and adhered them over the card base. That's paper piecing - one of the favorite technqiues! :)
