Sketch
I went for the theme. :) This is what I came up with!
For the background, I sponged using Peacock feathers and Seedless preserves. I sprintz water on a script stamp from Bo bunny and stamped it over the card. I added a few splatters of white acrylic! The bird is from STAMPlorations-the bird and the blooms set along with the sentiment. :)
Find out what my rest of the teamies have created! :)
I am CASEing card of Birgit for Happy Little Stampers- CASE the designer.I got inspired by the script background and sponging. Also the birdie ! ;)
also adding it to CAS Mix Up October Challenge - Stamping+Ghosting+Adding texture through white acrylic color
and

ReplyDeleteOoooh, this is lovely! So vivid and striking - what a fabulous background that sets off the bird to perfection. As a clean and simple challenge, we ideally like to see a bit of empty space on cards at Less is More, but this is really gorgeous and I'm thrilled you shared it with us x
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous card Suchi - love the colours you have used :-)

ReplyDeleteGorgeous, vibrant colours and I love that you left your main focal point uncoloured. As Esther mentioned, we do prefer to see some white space but this is so striking.
