The Window

Hello Dear Friends!

This is my 75th post! Wow! Can't imagine I reached that number so soon!

My card is inspired by this week's Freshly Made Sketches Challenge # 188

My Card

For making this card, I adhered a stone brick pattern paper over the card base.
Then adhered a white rectangular paper over which I stuck the washing tape. I used beautiful die-cuts which I won in a giveaway and made the leaves using Sakura Black pen.
I also used the same over chevron patterned paper by American Craft and fuzzy cut them out.
I stamped the sentiment using Trendy Butterfly from STAMPlorations and black soot DI.
Hope you guys liked my card! :)

Purple CASE

Hellloooooo Sweet Friendsss!!

I am congratulating Pia from Inkspirational Challenges for her wedding! :)
They have decided to have a theme-Purple this week! So, I decided to play along :)

Also, today I am doing a very big task! I am gonna CASE our dear Crafter Cornelia from Fun-Stamping.
Her cards are colorful, happy and bright! Just like her sweet comments! :)

Now, this IS a big deal because when you are CASEing someone, you are copying their style and also I hope Cornelia should like it :P
I have been her sincere follower since start of my blog.. and look forward to her creations!

I am inspired by the strip torn along. The colors look beautiful with the black and white background! :)

Here is my card:

I have stamped the butterflies from 'Trendy Butterfly' Stamp set from STAMPlorations. I colored the strip using water colors and stamped small butterlies with the same stamp set. The color purple is my favorite! :)
I have used 'Black soot' and 'Seedless preserves' DI for the same. I stamped the sentiment from 'Trendy Butterfly'.

Grungy sketch!

Heyya Fellas!! :)
I have been pretty busy lately with my office load at its fullest! So sparing some time for our hobby becomes even more difficult. Yet, even more necessary! ;)
I made this card:

Steps for making this card:
1.Mask the side of the card with washi tape
2.Randomly sponge distress ink (worn lipstick, seedless preserves and wild honey) over the unmasked area
3. Sprint water on Bold Floral Stencil from ARTplorations and put over the card. It gives a beautiful texture to it!
4.Mask the area besides it again and stamp using Trendy Leaves stamp set with same DIs.(for the grungy look)
5.Now stamp Trendy Butterfly stamps from STAMPlorations on a yellow card stock and fuzzy cut them out.
6.Add splatters over the card with a brush and water
7.Adhere a foil and stamp the sentiment from Trendy Butterfly stamp set and black soot DI.
8.Lastly, unmask the washi tape and stamp using Bo Bunny -To the point stamp and same DI colors.

I am entering this card for:

2. TIME OUT Challenge #31 - Grungy cards (optional embossing)

BTW,
I was doing my little dance when I received my new STAMPlorations stencils and stamps(no they haven't paid me to say that...lol... :P)!
I was praying silently to get them to me as soon as possible :p

Here is the pic of my latest buy with a note of thanks from Shery that made my day :)

I enjoyed playing with my new stamps!
Hope you guys liked my card..comments are always welcome :)

Leaves

Heyyya Dear Crafters!!

How are you all doing?
I am happy to say that my fingers have almost recovered from the accident that I had. :)

Our blog-land is so full of inspirations! Sometimes when your mind is all blocked, all you have to do is browse through the blog-land! I bet you will find MANY inspirations around. :)

Look , what I made today!

Technique:
Firstly,I masked a paper midway and stamped using Old paper DI and Bo Bunny Sentiment stamp. (I am soon gonna buy a script stamp, I guess it is a MUST have! )
I cut out those strips from the scrap that I had and adhered them over the card as shown.
For the leaves, which is the main focus, I colored Brustro Water color paper with Mr.Heuy's water colors- Orange, Yellow and Green. I splattered water over it for additional effect. I hand-drew the leaves and fuzzy cut them out. I drew the veins using old paper DI.
I adhered them together and added a button. The button was wooden which I painted using acrylic color. The sentiment is from Fiskars- Scratch from petals stamp set.

Hope you guys liked my card?

Color is Music

Heyyyaaa Sweet Crafters!! :)

I am back with another card! This time I have made sure I paint as well along with crafting. ;)

I made a CAS card and it is really a 'challenge' for me because as funny as it might sound, but Complex is my thing! :P

Here is my quick card!

Technique:
I used Brustro water color paper on which I hand painted this butterfly. I used Mr. Huey's water colors and Koi water brush for the same. I later , added musical notes using black gel pen.
I stamped the sentiment using black soot DI and Sentiment from Kaiser Craft Alphabet Cartoon stamp set. I adhered it over a green cardstock(as I thought green was missing) :)
And was done. This card didn't take much of my time! It was quick and I was happy! :)

I am playing along Challenges:

Before ending, I found this image on Pinterest and wanted to share with you all :)

Stamp & Mask!

Hello Dear Friends!!

I had an accident last week! A glass sheet fell on my hand, so couldn't craft much. :(
Yesterday, I did manage to craft though. :)

I played along TIME OUT challenges#30.

Grab Our Badge!

 The Pink Elephant TPE#298

 and Make-Art Challenge -Flowers

Here is my card,

Technique:
I masked the negative of a circle and adhered washi tape along the diameter. I stamped Fiskars-From the scratch stamp over the remaining portion. The DI used were- Mowed Lawn, Seedless Preserves, Salty Ocean, Fire Brick, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick and Old Paper.
I used a double sided foam sheet for two flowers(in red) and the sentiment to pop up. Sentiment is also from Fiskars-For the birds stamp set. I adhered this over green cardstock. I had this patterned paper from Leme(a Chinese Brand) which matched the bed sheet from the Time Out inspiration. :)
I have used the colors from sprinkled doughnut and the circular shape of The Pink Elephant inspiration.

Did you like my card?

Today's quote :)

Thanks for stopping by Ladies! :)

That place!

Helloo Dear Crafters!!
How have you all been? It's been a week since my last post! :O
Time is flying by here. I have been really busy lately! But here I am struggling to make another card. :)

Well, I am playing along STAMPlorations Challenges.

This week's sketch is:

What I have come up with is this card :)
I am also entering this card for Lawnscaping challenge which has watercoloring as their theme.

And Crafty CardMarker Challenge -Make your own background.

Technique:
I cut out shades of green colored papers in the above fashion and stuck them over the card. I managed to recycle a tag from my jean's price tag ;)
I adhered it with white card stock and patterned papers from American Craft(cut them out in the same shape as the background). I used this amazing Koi water brush which I recently bought. This brush-pen makes you work faster and makes things less messy! I used Mr.Huey's water colors to paint the background clouds and sun.
Later, I adhered a foam die-cut that I received in a giveaway. :)
I used Stamp from Fiskars for the sentiment and distress ink-black soot.
So, how do you like my card- It has paper piecing, stamping, watercoloring and die cut techniques.
Would love to hear your comments !
