STAMPlorations Bday Blog Hop Day 1

Hey! Heyyy !! Heyyyyy Ladiessss!! :)

Time to celebrate with us at all STAMPlorations! It is the THIRD birthday that we are celebrating and today is Day 1!! :)

We have this special release of Stamps and Dies from STAMPlorations! Kathryn's Big Wishes with co-ordinating dies and CUTplorations dies! 

Look what I have made-

I used 'Kathryn's Big Wishes' and 'Balloons and Banners' for the card. The sky background was masked and made using Salty Ocean Distress ink. I colored the stamped image using water colors.

All you have to do is-

• Use the mood board below to inspire you to create a project with a party, celebration, or birthday theme.
• Post it on your blog (or Flickr, Instagram, SCS gallery, etc.) and then link up below! Don't forget to display the mood board on your post and link back to this post!
• You may enter up to 3 projects and you can use any product(s) you have -- not just STAMPlorations stamps and/or stencils!

My new buy and a new card!

Helloo Dearest Friends!! :)

It is end of June already! The time flies like anything! :)

I have made a delicate card using acetate for you all! This is my first because the ones that I had made earlier using acetate are interactive cards!

I got myself a new stamp set -again a first, Altenew stamp set- Wild Hibiscus! I LOVEEE it! Here is what I made-

For the inner page , I used ghosting technique( I made another! ;) ) using distress inks and STAMPlorations stencil- Leaf Prints. I also masked the borders. The sentiment is from "My Favorite Things-Adorable Elephant ' stamp set.

Later on, I stamped and heat embossed Altenew Wild Hibiscus flowers over vellum using Ranger's White Embossing powder and Versamark. I colored them using distress inks again.  :)

Hope you liked my new fresh color card? I was inspired by the colors over Altenew June Challenge. I must say it was really difficult to photograph an acetate card!

Ghosting and Distress ink!

It has been a while since I posted only for playing along the craft challenges! 

Today, I am sharing with you all a card for which I have used water coloring using distress ink.

Here is my card-

I applied ghosting technique for the background. I have used Picked raspberry, Mustard seed and Peakcock feathers for the background and masked the borders while sponging. The stencil is from Craftslane and flowers are from Indian stamp company-Mudra. The flowers were also masked! :)

I loved the way it turned out! Thought it would go without a sentiment! What do you think?

STAMPlorations mid month reminder!

Hi All!!

We are back with a reminder post and you can play along with us at STAMPlorations !! :)
As you know, the theme and sketch is-





I am using just the theme! :)

For the card, I heat embossed flowers from Bloom Sketches using Ranger's white embossing powder. Then, I colored them using Mr.Huey's water colors and Koi water color brush. The sentiment is from 'Balloons and Banners'! :)

I came up with this awesome idea of making coloring book pages which are so much in trend right now!

It is said that coloring relaxes your mind as much as meditation!

I doodled Summer themed and coffee themed page for you all! I added elements of summer in it! 

You can download it for free.Just right click and 'Save Image As' and save the file. Use 5*7 size while printing which works best for this design!

Mudra Stamps on Lulupu!

On a lighter note, I want to share this AMAZING light box made by my hubby for me! The size is 18*18*18 inches. The box is made of card board and vellum. The focus lights are LED.

The blue background is of course changeable and the light we have is perfect! Most of you must have seen the pics on my FB! So glad that you guys liked it! :)

My card was simple and made using masculine card stock. The stamp is from Unity stamp company. I made it for my dear dad for Father's Day! :)

STAMPlorations- June Theme & Sketch!

It is first Friday of June and that means it is time for a new sketch and theme challenge on STAMPlorations!

The theme for June is

I went for both theme and sketch. :)

For the card, I have used my "Hearts all over" stencil which has been with me for a while.. :) I love this stencil from ARTplorations. Before stenciling, I sponged the white base lightly with Worn Lipstick distress ink.
Then I heat embossed the sentiment and frame using Ranger's Gold embossing powder and versa mark. The couple stamp is from STAMPlorations- Vignette Ever After stamp set. Frame stamp is from Dee's Artsy Impressions- Frames & Flowers!(Both are my NEW stamps) :)
