Heyya Sweet Crafters!! :)
Its been a while since my last post! I had a short trip to one of the beautiful beaches of Konkan area!
So, I am playing along a few challenges! I came up with this card-
As you all know, I love playing with distress ink! That day, I saw a video of Jennifer McGuire showcasing distress ink lifting. I thought why not try something like this using a stencil! Looks like I found a new technique altogether (which I was not aware of before whether it existed or not :P )
I started with masking the card base with washi tape to make that sketch. I used Seedless preserves, Salty ocean and Peakcock Feathers to sponge the background. Later, I covered the card with ARTplorations - Tribal Swirls stencil. I used water brush over the exposed area and wiped it using baby wipes. (I know it is a lot of work but the results are amazing! )The ink lifting worked wonders and I was happy with the result. Let me know if you want a video of it, if more people ask for it, I will definitely make one! :)
I added a few sequins to finish up this one layer card. And yes, the sentiment is also multicolored using DI. :)
I am entering this card for-
Tic-Tac-Toe Challenge # 4 - Distress ink, stencil and sequins
CASology#186 - Distress
and

Before ending, I want to share with you the click of a romantic sunset of Konkan -Laadghar beach! :)
